Teacher review workflow required before publish

2026-02-19

ReviewSafetyPublishing

Publishing now requires a structured teacher review step between Save Draft and Publish.

Builder note: Added a pre-publish checklist (math accuracy, age-appropriateness, interactives tested), per-block reviewed toggles, reviewed progress tracking, and publish audit entries in lesson chat history.
Terms we used
Pre-publish checklistPractice

A required confirmation step to verify core quality checks before making a lesson visible to students.

Per-block reviewedTool

Each lesson part can be explicitly marked reviewed, and publish is gated on full review coverage.

Publish audit trailInternal

Publish events are logged with who published, when, and review metadata for accountability.

2026-02-19

AILesson BuilderTeacher Workflow

Added the teacher workflow to generate lesson drafts with AI, then preview, refine, directly edit, and publish in the dashboard.

Builder note: Builder updates include selected-part refinement, direct edit surfaces, timeline/history visibility, and save/publish integration.
Terms we used
AI builder workflowTool

Teachers can prompt for a lesson draft, then iterate through preview, refine, direct edits, and publish.

Privacy policy added + invite-only teacher lesson creation

2026-02-19

PolicyAuthLesson Builder

Added a full Privacy Policy page and moved teacher access to an invite-only flow. Accounts are for teachers only, lessons are designed for teacher-led sessions, and students do not sign up for accounts.

Builder note: Signup now validates against persisted teacher invites in the database. The dashboard includes an invite status list that remains visible as “Invite ready” until that teacher completes signup, then flips to “Signed up.”
Terms we used
Invite-only signupPractice

Only emails added by an existing teacher can create a new teacher account.

Teacher-only accountsInternal

The platform account model is teacher-only; students participate through teacher-led lesson sessions rather than direct signup.

Persisted invite statusTool

Invite records are stored and shown in dashboard status history so teachers can track pending vs accepted invites.

Session 1 foundation: lessons and live sessions

2026-02-18

LaunchLessonsLive

Started from the Curiosity Builds template and established the core product: landing page, Slopes and Coefficients lessons, and live classroom sessions.

Builder note: Scope delivered: landing page lesson index, six-part Slopes lesson, five-part Coefficients lesson, and join-code live sessions with shared in-session state.
Terms we used
Lesson engineInternal

A structured content renderer that composes lesson blocks into a full interactive lesson experience.

Live join codesPractice

Teacher-started live sessions use a code + share link so students can join the same synchronized activity.
